Heavenly Homemade Hot Chocolate

What better way to finish this cold January than with a hot cup of homemade hot chocolate? Here’s how you can make this super-rich cup of deliciousness with coconut milk.


1 can unsweetened coconut milk

¼ cup sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 2/3 cups whole milk (or almond milk)

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Marshmallows (optional)

Place all ingredients except marshmallows and pour into a crockpot set on low. Cover and heat for two hours. Once heated, stir or whisk to make sure the chocolate melts. Change to the warm setting during serving.  Now add your marshmallows and you’re ready to enjoy your delicious hot chocolate during this cold winter season! (Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated).
