Under the home lights, Coach Chad Sarrett will lead his team to victory on the 13 of September, at 7:30pm. Preparations for the game have included watching films and coming to practice everyday during the season.
This year, the team welcomes 27 new players and says farewell to 15 seniors. Captains of the team change weekly and are assigned based on current performance. According to Coach Sarrett, compared to previous seasons, this team consists of “pretty tough individuals and good senior orientated leaders.”
The theme for the game will be “rave,” promoting the wearing of neon clothes and accessories. In addition to it being the first home game, youth night will also take place. Attendance of both Flying Eagles and the community will be heavy. A reminder that no backpacks or singed bags will be permitted. No student under middle school age will granted entrance without adult supervision.
Mr. Ryan Stafford, principal of Woodrow, reminds students to participate in the SOAR policy during their participation at the game. Tickets for the game will be sold at the gate and on the popular sporting website, “GoFan.com.” The price of admission will be seven dollars, regardless of age. Additionally , a season pass will be made available online, allowing entry to one individual for all home football games during the 2024 season.
