Welcoming students and their families to a European vacation, July 19-30, 2025.

In collaboration with professional travel company, Explorica, Ms. Michelle Clarkson will be hosting a trip across Central Europe next year. Traveling to Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, students will see a variety of historical landmarks.

Beginning in Berlin, travelers will start their journey with a visit to Checkpoint Charlie. Afterward, sightseeing of the Berlin Wall,  the Brandenburg Gates, and the Jewish Museum will be conducted. Riding by train to Warsaw Poland students will witness the “Old Ghetto,” and explore the Pawlak prison. On day six of twelve, traveling to Kraków will take place, in addition to eating a traditional Polish dinner. After exploring the area for another day, students will visit Prague and end their tour in Munich.

While hosted by a Woodrow Wilson High School teacher, all members of the community are welcome to attend. “They are allowed to go as long as they are of good character,” reports Ms. Clarkson. Over the past decade, Clarkson has taken a variety of trips with students across the borders.

To attend, a total of $4,200 is required to be paid in full. Payments can be divided over 13 months with $320 delivered to Explorica. Flights, hotel stays, transportation, and meals are all included. The last month to sign up is March 2025.
