Woodrow Wilson High School’s Diverse Student Organization celebrates cultures around the world.

Diverse Student Organization (DSO) is a student-led group that discusses and learns about discrimination. Hosted by Ms. Allison Miller, the organization debates and holds discussions about certain topics, hosts movie days, plays competitive Kahoots, and creates promotional posters. Another favored activity of the club is their culture days; members choose a day to promote cultural diversity by gathering and learning about the culture, food, clothing, etc. “We can deal with discrimination while also learning about others’ experiences, and just overall a comfort space where students of all different backgrounds and identities can come together and express,” Miller shares.  Meetings for DSO are held every other Thursday in D-9. Please visit their Instagram, “@diversestudents” for more information.
