Emma Mitchem, Writer
Emma is a Senior at Woodrow Wilson High School. This is her second year writing for The Eagle Dispatch. She is experienced in journalism, having written for the Beckley-Stratton Middle School Newspaper when she was in the 7th and 8th grade. She was a part of the ensemble of the WWHS production of Beauty and the Beast in 2020 and captain of the Colorguard in the WWHS Marching Band for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
When not in school, she loves to go home and listen to music and watch TV, as she is a fan of horror and sci-fi films. She also loves classic rock, 60s and 70s era music and modern music. She is still undecided on what she wants to do for a career, but has interests in psychology, forensic psychology and therapy.
