On March 10, 2024, Woodrow Wilson High School’s lassies attended the Star Talent Productions Competition at Capital High School. This was a new experience for both the dancers and coaches. They performed a jazz routine choreographed by senior, Lizzi Adkins and a pom routine choreographed by former lassie, Carsyn Harris. The lassies had thorough preparation for the competition and it paid off. The team was declared fourth overall and a first-place platinum finish in teen jazz and novelty. Additionally, they received the judge’s choice for their prom routine, “Run Away Baby,” precision, and performance. The team hopes to attend more occasions like this for experiences, enjoyment, and memories. To stay updated with Woodrow’s Dance Team please follow their Instagram, “wwhsdanceteam.”
