Woodrow Wilson High School’s Bible Club has now been replaced by the organization, “Teens4Christ.” A non-profit group, students share their love for the Bible and connect with other churches. Mrs. Billie Vandall, adviser, is assisted by daughter, Ms. Courtney Vandall. Teens4Christ serves as a safe haven for students and teachers alike to share their opinions about the Bible. Mrs. Vandall explains, “It gives students a chance to learn about the Bible alongside other believers’ and those who might be curious about it.” The organization holds charities to help people in need all over the world. “On top of creating a community within the school, we are currently hosting an eyeglasses drive to benefit people in need in Africa.” The eyeglasses will be collected by a student from Togo Africa who also attends Appalachian Bible College. Doctors and dentists come from around the world to provide their services, but can only do so much without equipment. Medical equipment such as eyeglasses will benefit the people in need in Africa.”
