Inspired by the lack of food drives around this time of year, Woodrow Wilson High School’s Key Club is hosting a soup drive in collaboration with a local church. Wanting to help their community thrive, the organization is creating an incentive for students to donate. For every five or more canned goods donated by an individual, his or her name will be distributed in a drawing for three different $25 Amazon gift card. Mr. Jeff Evans, adviser of Key Club, encourages those who can to contribute towards the cause, placing their donations within one of the many drop off locations through out the school. “We really just want to raise as much as we can. If everyone brought in a few cans, that would be great.” For more information regarding the donating process and Key Club, please visit Mr. Evans in C-18. The soup drive will continue until Feb. 27.
