Woodrow Wilson High School’s Key Club is an organization dedicated to serving the community of Beckley. Student-ran by President Ella Sides, the group has hosted many events to give back to the city. Previously this year, they completed an animal shelter drive in which they collected pet items. They are currently gathering different types of soup to donate to those in need. Additionally, they are looking forward to a regional meeting at The Resort at Glade Springs later this year, and helping a chapter of Kiwanis.
Adviser Jeff Evans expresses his gratitude for the group as he reflects on his own high school career, “I remember looking back when I was in high school at all of the good things Key Club was doing for our community.”
If you wish to join key club, a $25 fee must be payed unless other arrangements have been made. The group meets every other Thursday in room C-18.
