On Thursday, Nov. 30 Woodrow Wilson High School Seniors watched the beloved play, The Nutcracker. Presented by both Beckley Dance Theatre School and Beckley Performing Arts ,the show is a tradition to watch across the state. Many students of Woodrow performed in the production, including the Eagle Dispatch’s own Caroline Webb. Though nervous about performing, the girls felt honored to participate in such a high-ranked program. “The Nutcracker is a huge part of each dancers life. However, we enjoy every minute of it.” The dancers performed their final local viewing of the show the previous weekend but will be performing once more at The Greenbrier Resort on Dec. 28 and 29. For more information regarding the presentation please visit the Greenbrier’s official website.
